Still Most of all web designers are fighting all the time for IE6 issues and hacks. All web designers and Web development companies are still spend so much to to solve the issue with IE6 browsers.

There is reason behind that. In all over the world, still some big corporate companies and offices are using IE6. Many big companies and brands announced to ban IE6 in 2009 itself.

The Google and March 1 references come from that company’s recent announcement that it would drop IE6 from the list of supported browsers for its Google Docs online applications and its Google Sites hosting services starting on Monday, March 1. Yesterday, Google’s popular video site YouTube named March 13 as the end-of-support date for IE6.

There is big issue with IE6 browser but still some web developer are not aware of that. IE6 is majorly lacking to provide a web security. I can say, IE6 is kind of hackers browser.

Microsoft’s browser has weathered a “kill IE6” campaign since February 2009, when Facebook prompted IE6 users to upgrade. It accelerated last summer when Digg announced it would curtail IE6 support, and an “IE6 Must Die” Twitter petition collected thousands of names. Microsoft has endorsed the anti-IE6 efforts, going so far as to say that “Friends don’t let friends use IE6,” although it has refrained from forcing users or companies to upgrade to IE7 or IE8, arguing that the old browser is still required by some enterprises.

There are new technologies are coming like HTML5, CSS3 but still IE8 is also not providing the basics of that. So web deverloper’s need to struggle for that. The biggest issue I will say here is project estimation. Due to IE6 browser estimation will go always wrong. This is really frustrating.

There are multiple issues with IE6. I will talk about some here.

  • z-index issue – most bad part in IE6
  • inline-block – display property not work
  • min-height and max-height css property
  • child selectors in CSS
  • PNG transparent images- biggest issue
  • Poor Javascript support

Microsoft is planning to launch IE9 but still they are not included the some nice features of HTML5 and advanced javascript methods and CSS3 attributes.

On Saturday, the company announced it would change Buzz again, not with regard to profiles (which will apparently continue to be made public, if only to other Buzz users, by default) but rather, followers. As Buzz product manager Todd Jackson wrote, “Starting this week, instead of an auto-follow model in which Buzz automatically sets you up to follow the people you email and chat with most, we’re moving to an auto-suggest model. You won’t be set up to follow anyone until you have reviewed the suggestions and clicked ‘Follow selected people and start using Buzz.'”

Also over the weekend, Google essentially admitted it was not the best of ideas to assume that items already shared through Picasa and Google Reader, on a local basis, should become automatically shared through Buzz; new users were discovering they were already sharing Picasa photos without ever having given their permission. What we have also yet to see next week is whether Buzz users can still make use of a trick that a security engineer discovered last Friday, to use Picasa to ascertain one’s semi-public Google Profile URL as though it were a fully public one.

A Google spokesperson confirmed to Betanews this afternoon that a second round of privacy changes, the nature of which was revealed last Saturday evening, is still being developed, and may yet go live “in the next couple of days.”

1.) “We’re Buying Twitter”: Well, this is wishful thinking. Google has bought its share of companies and technologies, but I think Twitter’s valuation might be too high for Google’s blood.
2.) Preview Panes in Gmail: Nice, simple upgrade to the popular web mail app. If they do, it’ll show up quietly in Gmail Labs.
3.) Google Reveals Exactly What’s it’s Doing with the NSA: There have been reports that Google is working closely with the National Security Agency, but no one seems to know why. Don’t expect Google to talk about this.
4.) Google Voice is Going Open: You don’t need an invite; you could simply go to Google voice and sign up today. It would be nice, but it’s definitely not newsworthy.
5.) Google Lowers the Price on Unsubsidized Nexus Ones: Wouldn’t it really be HTC lowering the price? Google’s not making money on this phone, but HTC probably is. I doubt they’ll want that to change.
6.) Google Announces Rescue Plan for NASA: With the Obama Administration pretty much abandoning the program, this would be a great opportunity for the space-loving Google to step in. Again, doubtful—even Google doesn’t have that much money.
7.) A Promise Never to Allow Data Mining: Google needs to mine its data to deliver valuable insight to clients and partners. They do it in ways that do not reveal private data. Don’t expect any of that to change.
8.) Google Unveils a Shipping Chrome Netbook or Tablet: The Chrome OS is months, if not a year, away from commercial availability. This will not happen.
9.) Google Updates Android: Android 2.1 is just arriving on Droids, but there is a chance, I guess, that this could be a big Android 3.0 announcement.
