Revealed: How I got Premium Theme-Junkie Themes for Free

You came here to download premium themes from Theme-Junkie for free, haven’t you? Let me guess, the title was too tempting for you to resist. Aha, I can visualize you wickedly smiling after reading that! This post won’t disappoint you. It’ll show you how to get Theme Junkie themes for free.

Man oh man, these premium WordPress themes are so costly nowadays! I could buy a pair of shining Nike soccer shoes with the sort of money that these theme creators are demanding! You know, I’m a soccer buff! No doubt that these themes are beautiful and all that, but who’d shell out such ridiculous amounts of money for buying them? Not you, I know that. That’s why you’re here hunting for free premium themes!

I know what you’ve been doing so far

I can see my former self in you! When I started out blogging, I too was using a free theme. I wanted premium themes so badly (but was unwilling to spend the bucks they were asking) that I took to the search engines, typing in queries like ‘xyz theme free download’ and all that.

Believe me, you won’t be disappointed by the results that SEs will return for those queries. You could very easily lay your hands on pirated version of premium themes for free! So nice, isn’t it? Those guys bust their a*s off creating these themes, many folks spend money to buy it. Here you are, getting those very themes for free! You are so cool, Mr ‘Free’man!

Pirated (Nulled) Premium themes are dangerous!

Wait, I’m gonna disappoint you. The pirated stuff could probably be very ‘dangerous’! Have you heard of nulled themes? The free premium theme you downloaded yesterday and are using on your blog could be nulled! Nulled themes are tampered ones. They have their various scripts (related to security ) removed by the guy who made it ‘free for you’!

Basically, these themes have ‘backdoors’ or vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by others (read hackers). Many of these ‘free premium themes’ are actually traps! Whoa, again, sorry for disappointing you. But I just wanted to help you out. Please stop using such themes. And worry not, I’ll tell you how to grab premium Theme Junkie themes for free (the original ones of course)! Stay with me and you’ll be rewarded.

Which theme are you using right now?

Are you using a free theme or a pirated one? Most new bloggers tend to start their blogging journey with ‘free’ themes. Yeah, there are loads of them out there. Many of them look damn attractive also! Then why are not we being charged for using them? Are the developers so generous? No, I don’t think they are kind like me. Here I’m sharing my secret of how to get premium stuff for free! That’s such a kind act, isn’t it?

Basically, they are free for a reason. No developer would give away themes for free blindly. These themes often lack key features like stability, security, responsiveness etc. They might look attractive, but what use is ‘beauty’ of when security is compromised?

Their coding would often be sub-standard. After all, who’d go through all this trouble to give away the theme for free in the end? The developer would be like- ‘Let me just make my way quickly through this s**t! I’ve got more worthy things to do!’

Sub-standard coding can be associated to a slow loading blog. It is something that Google doesn’t like much. Not just Google, visitors would also ditch such blogs. Basically, your blog will be like a desert (minus the tourists and camels). That prospect sucks! Bloggers love traffic! And free themes won’t let that happen!

Okay, I see that you’re not using a free theme. You’re using a pirated premium theme, aren’t you? My friend, there are chances that you’ll break your blog! I told earlier, the case of ‘nulled’ themes. They basically have their security scripts disabled. It is basically like a house with no doors and dogs! Anyone can enter and loot it! In your case, replace the term ‘loot’ with ‘hack’.

Reasons why you must use Theme-Junkie

Since I’m going to tell you how to get premium (original) Theme Junkie themes for free, let me tell you more about the ‘qualities’ of it. As you can see, I’m using one right here on my blog!

How do you feel browsing through this blog? Feels like you are driving on an express highway, isn’t it? Yeah, I know the navigation is freaking awesome. So is the speed! It is blazing fast, thanks to the super neat and super efficient coding!

The design and the characteristics of a theme play a crucial role in deciding its loading speed. I can assure you that Theme-Junkie won’t let you down! Just take my PageSpeed score and GT Metrix analysis for example. They’ll put other blogs to shame (Am I sounding over confident?)

The user experience and usability is not sacrificed at all! They offer a wide variety of widgets and useful stuff. You can see that this theme effortlessly satisfies all my needs. I’ve got social follow widgets, mail subscription box and loads of other useful stuff over here. At the same time, the loading speed is awesome!

It is like getting the best of both the worlds! I’m getting productivity and speed in abundance. Theme Junkie is part responsible for it. You can customize the layout of the themes. If you’re the creative guy, you won’t be disappointed!

Another crucial and important feature TJ themes can assure you is ‘responsive’ness. The themes will render perfectly across various mobile devices like smartphones, tablets etc. Basically, you wouldn’t have to worry about mobile optimization after using TJ!

Responsive themes are pretty handy, given that Google wants blogs to be mobile friendly. Here’s my ultimate guide to make your blog mobile friendly.

Theme Junkie support is awesome!

I haven’t been making use of their support forum recently. This is because I can tweak and modify codes myself now! Yes, I freaking learnt it! But in the beginning, I was just a layman.

In the beginning, the support forum was like my ‘home’. I would be there 24/7! I used to pester those folks with loads of questions and doubts. Some of them were silly questions, while others were pretty serious stuff.

I must admit that the support staff of Theme Junkie never let me down! They’d come with prompt solution, no matter how silly the question was! Outstanding– this word very well describes the support forum.

How to get it for free?

This is the best part! I’ll tell you how I got three premium TJ themes for free. First of all, I avoided all those dangerous nulled premium themes.

I headed straight to Theme Junkie’s site and purchased 3 premium themes. This happened quite some time before. I bought them for 27$, after availing a discount coupon.

Next thing I did was I dived into TJ’s affiliate sales bandwagon. Seeing the performance of Theme Junkie on my blog, some of my friends, who owned blogs were intrigued.

Thanks to Theme Junkie’s performance, they readily purchased the theme using my affiliate link! TJ provided me with 50% as commissions. In the very first month, I earned around 35$ through affiliate sales! Ultimately, it covered my cost of theme purchase! Thus, basically, I got it for free!

I’m still earning good money from TJ’s affiliates. Many facebook friends, who come to me asking about my blog’s good performance, end up getting impressed by TJ!

This is followed up by some of them buying using my affiliate link! Actually, now I’m earning profit! I purchased this new domain and hosting, thanks to the profit I earned from TJ’s affiliate program!

This is how I ‘killed two birds’ using one stone! I got superb premium themes (ultimately for free!) and I’m earning passive income!

Further, using a premium theme gave my blog a professional look and more credibility. I even went on to bag couple of ‘sponsored posts’ on a blog of mine, from an educational institution in India, my country. All this gave me good money.

If I can do it, so can you! Make up your mind, you basically have nothing to do! People will naturally get interested in TJ themes, thanks to its performance! You just have to put your affiliate links for them to click on!

I’ve revealed my little secret, as I’ve promised. Make sure that you make use of it. Here, grab some awesome Theme Junkie themes!

Pricing details

This is what separates TJ from the rest! The pricing is unimaginably economical! They’ve got a collection of 38 themes, which you can buy for just $50! Yes, 38 themes for just $50, it is deal of a lifetime!

If you don’t want all 38 themes, TJ has got another irresistible offer! On purchasing a single theme, you’ll get two bonus themes too! That becomes a total of three premium themes! And it’ll cost you 39$ for buying these three themes! This price can be reduced by using any of the many ‘discount coupons’!

And if you want an extra discount of 20% on purchase, they’re giving a ‘Christmas Discount’ right now! Grab it now guys! Each theme will thus cost you just 1.3$.

A list of benefits you’ll get after buying TJ themes

If you invest in buying Theme Junkie theme now, you’ll get tons of returns in future! You’ll get a well designed and blazing fast blog. And if you use my method, you could easily recover the cost you spent on purchasing the theme and earn handsome profit! Grab this chance and visit Theme Junkie now!

Update url alias of user nodes on change of drupal username

One of our client want functionality to change username in edit profile which is easy. We are using pathauto module for pretty URL in Drupal7.
I faced two issues when changing username. which are explained here..

First Issue

We are using username paths (/users/[username]). After changing a username the url alias doesn’t change and the user edit page doesn’t have an option to change it manually.

Second Issue

We are using username before nodes urls. for after changing username Node uel alias does not change automatically.

Solution (for first issue):
For fist issue I used rules modeuls and created following rule:

You can create rule using following export rule.

{ "rules_change_user_url_alias" : {
    "LABEL" : "Change user URL alias",
    "PLUGIN" : "reaction rule",
    "REQUIRES" : [ "rules", "path" ],
    "ON" : [ "user_update" ],
    "IF" : [
      { "NOT data_is" : { "data" : [ "account-unchanged:name" ], "value" : [ "account:name" ] } }
    ],
    "DO" : [
      { "path_alias" : { "source" : "user\/[account:uid]", "alias" : "member\/[account:name]" } }
    ]
  }
}

Solution (for Second issue):
For second issue, I written custom code as follows:
I used user_update hook for solving this issue.
You just need to put following code in your custom module. It will find all nodes of editing user (logged in user) and update url alias.

/*
 * On user update call this method for updating the node url in url_alias
 */
function MYMODULE_user_update(&$edit, $account, $category) {
    //getting all nodes
    $nodes = get_user_node_by_type('custom_node_type',$account->uid);
    //loop for all nodes of logged in User
    if(!empty($nodes)) {
        foreach ($nodes as $key => $node) {
            //load path auto module
            if(module_load_include('inc','pathauto','pathauto') !== FALSE) {
                if (function_exists('pathauto_cleanstring')) {
                //generates clear url title from node title
                $currnt_page_title_alias = pathauto_cleanstring($node->title); // define in pathauto.inc file.
                //generate new url for selected node
                $new_url=$account->name.'/'.$currnt_page_title_alias;
                // echo 'node/'.$node->nid;die;
                $query = db_query("select u.pid from {url_alias} AS u WHERE u.source = 'node/$node->nid'");
                $result = $query->fetchAll();
                    //If url alias found for node than update the alias
                    if(!empty($result)) {
                        db_query("UPDATE {url_alias} AS u SET u.alias = '$new_url' WHERE u.source = 'node/$node->nid'");
                    }
                }
            }
        }
    }
}

/*
 * Return User nodes based on UID and node type
 */
function get_user_node_by_type($node_type, $uid){
  $nodes = array();
  $nids = db_query('SELECT nid FROM {node} WHERE uid = :uid AND type = :type', array(':uid' => $uid, ':type' => $node_type))->fetchCol();
  if (!empty($nids)) {
    $nodes = node_load_multiple($nids);
  }
  return $nodes;
}

Above code will solve my problem. When I edit my username, It collects all nodes which are created by that user and update the url_alias of nodes.

solved wordpress 3.3 dashboard blank issue

Recently, I came across very weird issue. I found wordpress 3.3 dashboard blank issue on my PC. There are many wordpress admin pages not shown to me. suddenly all admin pages became blank.
Only left side bar was visible to me. I checked my site in firefox, chrome, IE browser but same result. I am not able to see the posts, dashboard. Only left sidebar was visible.
I was using wordpress Version 3.3.2. I was using php 5.5 on my local box.

solved wordpress 3.3 dashboard blank issue

Note: This issue nothing to do with plugins or images. When I realized on production server I was using PHP 5.3 and local box I am using PHP 5.5 version. I quickly solved issue.

I enabled debug mode of wordpress using wp-config.php file. You can open wp-config.php file put following code in that.

/**
* For developers: WordPress debugging mode.
*
* Change this to true to enable the display of notices during development.
* It is strongly recommended that plugin and theme developers use WP_DEBUG
* in their development environments.
*/
define('WP_DEBUG', true);

When I checked apache error logs I found following error:

Fatal error: Access to undeclared static property: WP_Screen::$this in blog/wp-admin/includes/screen.php on line 706

Solution:

This is old bug in WordPress 3.3 versions which causing issue.

To solve the issue you can update WordPress to the current stable release and do integration testing afterwards. Or you can do a quick bug fix.

Open file in your wordpress, wp-admin/includes/screen.php in any text editor.
On line no 706 find following PHP statement: <?php echo self::$this->_help_sidebar; ?>
Replace with above: <?php echo $this->_help_sidebar; ?>
Save changes and that will solve your issue.

<?php echo $this->_help_sidebar; ?>

Above code is working with PHP 5.3 version but with newer PHP 5.5 version. We are facing issues.

update wordpress user password through phpmyadmin

Many PHP new developer asked my how to update wordpress user password through phpmyadmin. It is very easy trick. Many PHP sites are using Md5 encryption logic for saving the password in database.

Similarly wordpress is using MD5 encryption for saving the password in database. We can easily keep any password and change through phpmyadmin for wordpress users very easily.

First we need to open phpmyadmin in your web-browser. open wp_users tables. You are able to see following screenshot when choose user for edit.

wordpress-user-pass-phpmyadmin

First select user for which you want to edit the password and click on change button. you will be able to see above image.

Important thing is, you need to select MD5 in function column for user_pass field. Than choose your password and click on go button.

It is very simple to change password using phpmyadmin for any php application if that application is using MD5 encryption logic for saving the password.

delete some days old files and folder linux command

Linux systems are always used as server. Many times we need to cleanup the server. I found nice solution for deleting older files and folders from server without any issue.

For deleting files or folder you can use following command:

rm -rf `find /home/purab/* -type d -mtime +90`

Above command will find all files and folders which are created 90 days ago and delete those folders and files.

Before running above command be careful about directory path. please directory path. rm -rf command is always dangerous.

Above We used find command for searching all files in folder.

-mtime is used to calculate time.

If you want to keep only 5 latest folders on server than you can use following command.

ls -dt /home/purab/*/ | tail -n +6 | xargs rm -rf

Above command has three parts.

Increase Time Spent by Visitors on Blog

Bloggers are usually concerned about the number of visitors coming to their blog. Best tricks for Increase Time Spent by Visitors on Blog. They consider it to be the single most parameter they need to be concerned about. But they are wrong. I agree that ‘visitor count’/traffic is an important parameter. But, equally important is the time spent by the visitor on a blog. This parameter underlines the level of ‘user engagement’ a blog enjoys.

Some blogs boast of good user engagement, while some others have little luck when talking about it. This reflects on the amount of time spent by the visitors on a blog. Webmasters may use Alexa.com or Google Analytics to check the amount of time spent by visitors on their blog.

Why is increasing the time spent by users important? For blogs, the more time a visitor spends, the more are the chances of monetization. Advertisers too prefer such blogs.

Increase Time Spent by Visitors on Blog

Let us talk about ways to improve user engagement. How do we go about ‘forcing’ visitors to stay on our blog? There are systematic methods to get this job done. And many of these methods have already been discussed in the post ‘How to Reduce Bounce Rate’. But still, I’ll just run through those method here.

Steps to increase user engagement and time spent by visitors on a blog

1 Have a decent collection of well written articles

This is the prime requirement. For a visitor to spend time on your blog, he must be provided with valuable content. A visitor would hardly be interested in loitering around a blog that has nothing to offer.

Make it a point that your blog has a decent collection (at least more than 10) of high quality articles. If your blog satisfies this condition, follow the below methods :

# Use Related posts plugin

As I said before, improving user engagement has many things in common with reducing bounce rate. Using related posts plugins is one of them.

Also Read- How to reduce high bounce rate

Using them will make sure that the visitor is shown more related posts as soon as he finishes one. Naturally, he/she will tend to click on them and read more articles. This makes them stay on your blog for longer duration.

A ‘semantic’ related posts plugin will do the trick. I recommend and use ‘Related posts by Zemanta’. But for related posts to work like a charm, you must check out and implement the next suggestion.

# Use eye-catching titles

Related posts plugins just show the related posts to the visitor. It is up to the visitor to read it. To ‘force’ your visitor into reading the post, this technique must be used.

Writing catchy titles grab attention easily. It makes visitors curious. The result is that CTR (Click Through Rate) of related plugins increase! A great way to create catchy titles is by making the title a bit controversial in nature.

# Clever internal linking

Cleverly use internal linking throughout the article. Do it wherever necessary. It is good for SEO and will improve user engagement.

# Command respect and trust through your article

Try to win the hearts of your visitor. If you manage to create a good impression through your article, chances are the visitor will stay for more.

This ultimately depends on the quality of the article. Write well researched, honest articles. Go for a ‘conversational’ style of writing, rather than ‘dictating’. Back your articles with facts and figures. This will help you win visitor’s trust and build good reputation.

2 Improve loading speed of blog

Patience is a valuable virtue. Unfortunately, many of us lack it. Rather than lamenting about it, why not speed up your blog?

Also read- How to increase the loading speed of a blog

Visitors are willing to spend more time on blogs that load fast.

3 Make sure that your blog design is compatible with mobile devices

This is the age of mobile devices. More and more users are using tablets and smartphones to access blogs.

They use browsers like UC Browser, Opera Mini, Android’s Browser etc. Make sure that your blog’s theme is responsive. How can you expect a visitor to stay on a blog if it doesn’t even load properly?

4 Encourage them to comment

Making the process of commenting simple is a stepping stone towards increasing user engagement. Use a commenting platform, which is easy to use.

Encourage users to comment. At the end of an article, you may ask them to share their views and opinions. Better yet, ask them to post their queries in comment. While you do so, remember to answer those questions without fail!

5 Use Smart social sharing options for ‘share-maniacs’

Many visitors are hyper-active on social sites. They find ‘sharing’ sexy and cool. They make it a point to share useful stuff with their friends. Ultimately, such visitors are beneficial for webmasters!

Keeping in mind such visitors, make it a point to use social sharing buttons on each post. Let them share and explore your blog more!

how to make wordpress site responsive

Here is smart solution for, how to make wordpress site responsive. I’ve been researching about this topic for a while. As you all know, Google PageSpeed Insights now has a ‘beta’ feature that revolves around ‘mobile user experience. Also, the mobile web users’ number is increasing very fast. Thus, mobile optimization is unavoidable. Here, I’ve compiled a list of free WordPress mobile plugins and some tips to get you started. But before that, imagine the following scenario.

Imagine you are trying to access a blog using your smartphone. Your aim is to obtain some very useful information from the blog. You see, internet is not just about facebook, pirated movies and porn! Oftentimes, serious folks like me (I assure you I’m) use the internet for obtaining information. All right, so you’re waiting for this blog to open. Solution #2- Use any of these free WordPress mobile plugins

If you are the ‘Uncle Scrooge’ type blogger, who don’t want to spend money on responsive themes, these plugins will help you. In fact, you’ll love them. They’ll ensure that your blog is decently optimized for mobile devices. Most of these plugins comes with their own ‘mobile themes’, tailor-made for small screens.

Here’s the list of plugins that I recommend. Choose wisely Mr Scrooge!

#1 WPtouch Mobile Plugin

WPtouch is a plugin that is used and trusted by newbie and professional bloggers alike. So, naturally, it must be pretty ‘solid’ to have been used and downloaded by many folks!

It has a free version and a pro version. So, if you are not willing to spend your hard earned money, the free version will do a decent job.

Upon installing and activating this plugin, it automatically enables an apt, simple mobile layout for your blog. Basically, just like in your wild fantasy, you’ll get the job done without much effort!

If you are the active and hard working type like me (I’m dangerously hard-working, mind you!), you may go to the admin panel of the plugin and tweak the settings and layout a bit! You know, basic customization, colors and all.

This plugin allows visitors the freedom to switch between mobile and regular (desktop) versions of your blog. And if you are willing to spend money, go for WP Touch Pro. To be honest, I haven’t tried the pro version yet.

From whatever info I could gather from WP Touch Pro users, I can safely conclude that it offers amazing customizing options. Also, the support team is caring and quick at solving problems.

#2 JetPack Mobile Theme

To make use of this option, first of all you must have JetPack plugin installed and activated. And let me warn you; this plugin won’t give a ‘stylish’ look to your blog’s mobile version! But still, it ensures that your blog gets rendered on mobile devices fast. If it is improving user experience that matters to you, this tool will satisfy your needs. This theme won’t display ads like the way they are displayed on desktop.

Activating this theme is simple. Head straight to ‘JetPack’ section on your Dashboard. Among the list of tools that it offers, you’ll find ‘Mobile Theme’. Just activate it and you’re done!

Now, regarding the customization part, you don’t have to worry much about it. This is because there are only 2 options to configure! Make sure that you set up the ‘excerpt’ option. It is the only thing you should be concerned about.

#3 WordPress Mobile Pack

According to the creators of this plugin, WP Mobile Pack is a complete toolkit to make your blog mobile friendly. To an extent, they are true!

This plugin comes with a custom mobile theme, which is decent enough. It also has a ‘switcher’ that helps it to recognize the device (desktop or mobile) and render your blog accordingly.

This is a smart plugin that automatically scales down images, divides posts and pages etc to fit it in a small screen appropriately. If you’re an AdSense publisher, this plugin also offers an ad widget to help display ads.

The admin panel feature allows you to access your blog and use basic admin rights to do activities like moderating comments, editing posts etc. Analytics feature helps keep track of visitor count and similar info.

#4 WP Mobile Edition

What I like about this plugin is that it comes loaded with lots of useful features. Like other plugins, this one also ‘detects’ the device that the visitor is using. Upon detecting a mobile device, it switches the theme accordingly.

The default theme that it offers is pretty good. It comprises of all the basic necessities a theme should have. It even has good social sharing options included in it.

Earlier, I talked about ‘loads’ of features. Well, I actually meant it and wasn’t lying. This plugin offers some serious features related to SEO!

It comes with an inbuilt mobile XML Sitemap generator! This little fellow will ensure better visibility for your blog in ‘mobile’ searches made using Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.

Ad publishing isn’t compromised, thanks to an ad widget it offers. You may effortlessly publish ads and expect the mobile theme to render it seamlessly on smaller screens!

This theme too, basically belongs to your fantasy. It helps get lots of job done without much efforts from your side. Check this plugin out at the WordPress.Org repository.

#5 Any mobile theme switcher

All right folks, this plugin is a bit different. This plugin wants you to keep a few mobile themes in your WordPress database. Don’t frown, I know it is a bit daunting task. But still, making use of this plugin will give your blog a ‘special look’!

So, have you downloaded and uploaded a handful of mobile themes? If yes, install this plugin and start assigning themes to various types of browsers!

This plugin allows you to select which theme will be used on a ‘specific’ mobile browser. Take a look at the screenshot to understand it-

I hope that the screenshot made you understand it well. Of course, images convey messages better than text!

So, this plugin gives you the freedom to choose different mobile themes for different mobile browsers like android, Opera Mini, Windows etc. I told you, this plugin will give your blog a special look! See, I wasn’t lying!

#6 Mobile Smart

Sleek, light and easy to use- this is how I’d describe this plugin. It comes with a ‘detection tool’, that identifies the device (mobile or desktop) and delivers your blog accordingly.

If it finds a mobile device, your blog will get delivered on the ‘boilerplate’ theme. I’m afraid, it is not the sexiest theme around in the town. But still, it won’t let your blog down! User experience won’t be compromised, I can assure you that.

A feature of this plugin that I really love is its knack of recognizing the ‘type’ of mobile device. This fellow can effortlessly find out whether a mobile device sports a touch screen, qwerty keypad or the regular alphanumeric keypad. It ensures that the ‘best configured’ version of your blog is delivered to the device!

#7 Duda Mobile site builder

This plugin works like a charm across most of the WordPress themes. All you have to do is make a mobile friendly version of your blog using drag and drop operations! And Duda will deliver your blog based on its ‘device recognition’ prowess. I must admit that it does this ‘recognition’ job well!

Yes, you can get a bit ‘creative’ while using it. Further, it involves no coding. It’s all ‘drag and drop’ stuff. So, you may even ask your granny to make it for you!

Other features includes- excellent mobile SEO, good ad placing options, analytics etc.

Solution #3- Create a ‘m.yoursite.com’ subdomain and deliver something special to mobile visitors

If the above plugins haven’t satisfied you, I’ve got more tricks up my sleeve! You want your blog’s mobile version to be unique and want it to stand out from the crowd? Want a ‘stylish mobile theme’ to be rendered across all mobile devices like smartphones, tablets and various mobile browsers? I suggest you to create a subdomain.

Using the C Panel, it is very easy to create a subdomain. Okay, for your sake, I’ll just run through the process-

Log in to your C Panel

Head to the ‘Subdomain’ part. It is that ‘globe’ and ‘www’ thing right there.

Create an ‘m.yoursite.com subdomain. The document root should be /public_html or same as the directory containing your WordPress installation files.

Time for victory dance! Mission accompli… hey, wait, you’ve created the Subdomain, but still, there are things still to be done..

After creating the subdomain, you need a plugin that’ll redirect mobile web users to it. That’s when ‘Mobile Domain’ comes handy.

After installing the said plugin, activate it. In its settings, you can choose a mobile theme (which I assume you already have saved in your WP database) that’ll be used on the mobile subdomain!

In the settings, all you need to do is enter the subdomain you just created. This is followed by the selection of the mobile theme! That’s it, the plugin will take care of the everything else!

This plugin also comes with a Mobile XML Sitemap creator. You may use Google Webmaster Tools to claim the mobile subdomain and submit Mobile Sitemap.

Creating an m.domain.com thing is highly recommended if your blog is getting lots of mobile web visitors. Besides, it also helps you customize the subdomain without the fear of it influencing the speed and performance of your blog’s main theme. Even caching for the subdomain can be arranged separately, making it an independent entity!

Solution #4- Using the @media query to make mobile version of your blog

This method is for those who have knowledge of CSS coding. If you haven’t heard at all about CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), you better leave this section and head to the end of this post.

Basically, the stylesheet.css of your blog can be tweaked to deliver a customized ‘mobile version’ of your blog to the appropriate devices.

This task can be accomplished using the Media query. You just need to specify the ‘screen size’ of the device and insert your ‘mobile friendly CSS’ in curly braces. Okay, coding done? Insert it in your stylesheet.css. Take a backup folks, I don’t want you to ruin your blog, in case if something goes wrong.

Basically, the media query, to set a definite screen dimension, looks like this-

@media only screen and (max-device-width: 480px){YOUR BLOG’S MOBILE FRIENDLY CSS}

You see how this works, don’t you? We are basically setting a ‘specific screen width’ for a specific device. In the above case, that specific device is an iPhone! The curly braces should contain the customized CSS, which is to be displayed for the iPhone. You may go for specific font size, header size, footer characteristics etc.

After inserting the above code in your blog’s stylesheet.css, this customized css will be served to iPhone users who visit your blog!

This is just a simple example, focusing solely on a very finite set of ‘screen size’. If you wanna go for a ‘complex’ mobile design, it’ll involve you making a separate mobile.css file and linking it to the media query! Further, you may make use of ‘@media (min width: )’ also to your advantage!

Wait, I’m no coding guru, so I suggest that you read this post by the experts, related to CSS 3 and media query. This method is particularly useful, if you wanna give your own ‘touch’ to your blog’s mobile version.
